Bdae Treat from fat bf

Just last month, celebrated my birthday with fat bf with the first highlight at a Chinese Teahouse for Tea Appreciation Workshop which comprised of 7 dim sum treat ( Its in a package).
Well, was wondering why were we there since Chinese Tea is not common for us, ha we can be a little wrong. This workshop segregates black, green & white tea and was shown how each property in the Chinese tea actually does some health benefits, or from which part of China does each tea leaves come from..
Most of the times, we drink jasmine tea but how many of us really know that its actually jasmine flower intertwine with green/black tea leaves to give us the flowery tea scent.
Interestingly, both of us love the white tea which is minimally processed and has the least caffeine among all types of tea. It has a sweet after-taste and actually soothing and settles very comfortably on the taste buds.
As there is a Caucasian couple also taking the same time slot, hence I cannot/ prefer not be an alien snapping pictures crazily in our homeland..trying to play tourists when we were not. =P
Luckily, fat bf is chatty enough to strike up some conversation with the UK couple while I (as usual) space out happily in my own lala land =P
(Of course, I did mingle a bit and chat =P but at least effortlessly with the bf around =P

After the enriching tea workshop, we hoped around the area and happen to be find some cafes.
Hence, decided to try coffee at Drury Lane.

Muselli with  yogurt &rasberry sauce.
Verdict: too sour to our liking & anyone can D-I-Y this easily.

The coffee art is not bad but the selection for coffee is a tad too little.

Interior - 2 story high cafe.
Not bad  to hang-out with friends

The desserts look very normal.

Exterior of Drury Lane
So will I go back again?  I seldom hang out that area and given a choice, frankly speaking, I will give it a miss to try some other cafe.

As for dinner, fat bf mentioned he wanted to try Jamie's since he has not been there before while Missy, me had=P

So being my second time there, I warned fat bf of the long wait and since we were still full and he was willing to queue , and there we started to queue =P
Queue did get crazingly longer so after an hour & 15 minutes wait, they messaged the bf that a table is available. That very instant, fat bf 's face brimmed and we sped off to the restaurant ( Greedy Us!!)

If you refer to my 1st visit there at Jamie's, I did mention that the fish in a bag is very fresh & nice. Fat bf had that but the quality seems to dip a little for that. Really, hope there is consistency in this dish)
I had prawn Linguine and such a  wise choice!! The pasta was very al-dente, well blended with the  fresh prawns & pasta sauce. The whole dish was splendid & delectable!
Fish In a Bag

Prawn Linguine
Look how al dente the pasta looks here!! Thumbs Up
Fat bf initially planned to order Cured Meat Platter but there was beef (which we do not take), hence the waitress introduced us a dish ( outside the menu)- some pork Belly dish which I cant remember the dish name.
That was a big disappointment!! Other than the whole dish looked very well presented ,the pork was not tender and the minced meat  in its cross-section  tasted too"herby" and a little dry too. => The herbs being used is too overpowering killing the whole dish

What's more scary is... among the food items that we had, this dish was the most expensive around $55  (If my memory din fail me) but yet not pleasing to the palate.
Total damage of the meal: $120
