Plain Cafe

An impromptu visit to Plain cafe with fat bf last weekend.
This is our 2nd time there and this time seems that the place is more packed compared to the previous visit.

Both of us love the coffee and the spread there.
Though the menu is limited in its selection., I will say its still quite a worth for a try for its quality, affordability & their friendly service

Did not manage to get a snapshot of the menu. Menu is pinned onto the wall so you can just decide what you need and order over at the counter
So this is what we have for our caffeine fix =D
Cafe latte for me & long black for the bf

Look at the crowd & its only around 2pm on a Sunday.

This is what I've ordered. Humpty Dumpty & Vegemite soldiers @ around $7.50
Verdict: Love the runny boiled eggs and I chose to dig it out and eat with the toasted strip breads with Marmite.
Will rate this as 4/5 stars
This is what fat bf ordered: Weekender Eggs  around  $18 ( If I do not remember wrongly) =P
Fat bf loves this especially, the thick toast with yummy smoked salmon, and not to forget the perfect poached eggs & sauce that complemented each other perfected. Lemon juice squeezed onto the toast gives it a refreshing, tantalising taste.  Good verdict at $4.5/5. Even myself is aiming at his toast though I had finished mine=P

Overall, we spent around $33.50 which is a good price for a good quality brunch

The crowd keeps coming in that after we had finished our food hence we just went over to the cashier to pay.
Do note, this cafe is kinda special in the sense that when it comes to billing,  you have to go to the cashier and pay for what you had ( verbally over the counter).
All this boils down to each individuals's honesty & perhaps the servers' memory when it comes to payment =P
